Richwood Contracting of Oshawa, Ontario installed a combination of Mirage Horizon 2800 large format screens and Mirage retractable door screens to enclose a portion of a deck area and effectively maximize the cottage owner’s comfort while on vacation at their lake home. The homeowners chose a combination of motorized and chain drove Horizon 2800 retractable screens as well as retractable French door screens. The slanted roof of the enclosure was easily modified with a horizontal post, installed to accept the Horizon motorized unit across the deck area. The cottage is used in the summer months and this combination of Mirage retractable screens for large openings is especially beneficial as flying insects are no longer an annoyance while spending time in their outdoor dining and family entertainment area. When insects aren’t a concern, the Mirage screens are simply retracted out of sight.
